July is perhaps the best month to sail in the Virgin Islands. The trades are steady and the water is warm allowing for long, leisurely snorkeling. The winds shifts slightly to the south opening up anchorages on the North Side of Tortola that are untenable in the winter. Not to mention that the summer weather is cooler and less humid than most parts of the United
States!
