Yacht Christine now available due to cancellation

Friday, December 12th, 2008

A regular client who books a yacht charter on CHRISTINE every Christmas has just had to cancel this years charter due to Illness. Great opportunity for a holiday Charter in the Bahamas or maybe elsewhere.

CHRISTINE is a 100 foot motor yacht built in 1991 by Broward and recently (2007) underwent an extensive refit with all new interior softgoods. She has 4 guest cabins: a master with a king bed and his/her bathroom. The VIP cabin has a queen bed, the third cabin has bunk beds with an office and the fourth cabin has twin beds each with ensuite facilities and entertainment systems. Her toys include a 17’ft. tender with 50 hp, 2 waverunners, water skis, wake board, snorkel gear, tow toys and fishing rods. In 2007 the interior was completely refurbished – new carpets, sofas, mattresses, linens, etc. Nice warm colors. Not much cover on the flybridge. Plenty of seating and sunpads. Capt. Robert has great knowledge of the Bahamas for yacht charters in the islands. She cruises at 14 knots and burns 60 gallons per hour. She has a crew of 4 and charters for $29,500 per week, plus all expenses.

Now available thru Jan 19th.

Staff to inspect Caribbean Charter yachts in December.

Monday, December 1st, 2008

This time of year our specialists become busy, not only with planning great yacht charters for new and old clients but also handling the final details for the clients who booked their charter yacht for the holidays during the last 12 months and will be boarding soon. This work includes making sure the yacht is provisioned to each clients personal tastes, that the beverages and wines are planned for as well as any other detail that comes up to ensure each yacht charter is perfect for each client. Some of this is done face to face with the crews in the Caribbean during the two large yacht charter trade shows which occur next week. If we have a yacht reserved for a client who is also exhibiting at the show it gives us a rare opportunity to speak with them personally about our clients. this often is only done by phone as the yachts are always traveling.

Adding to the workload is December is attendance at these fall shows. Already in late November one of our specialists spent over a week in The Virgin Islands inspecting yachts based there this coming winter. Over the next 10 days two of our most experienced staff will be traveling to Antigua and St. Maarten to meet with Vendors and inspect yachts in each location.

We’ll be sure to feature their favorites after the shows.

The few remaining yachts are booking fast for the holidays so contact us asap if you still are considering this.
