The 157 foot expedition mega yacht Hanse Explorer was built in 2006 and carries the Finnish Ice Class A1 commercial ice class rating. This allows her to venture to many exotic places, including the Arctic, Antarctic, Northern Europe, and many others. She is also able to produce her own fresh water, making her entirely self sufficient, which allows for long range trips. She can take you on an expedition that few yachts can.

Plenty of inside space is available for your journey. The main salon offers two couches, a number of armchairs, ottomans, and a four stool bar. Floor to ceiling windows in the main salon give excellent views and provide natural lighting for the room. A dining table with place settings for twelve is found in the dining room. The lower deck offers a Finnish sauna.

Hanse Explorer is able to accommodate twelve in seven staterooms. Located on the upper deck, the ownerÕs suite has a stateroom with either a walk around queen that can be converted into two twin beds, a large private study and lounge, and en suite bathroom facilities. There are six guest staterooms located on the main deck, each of which can be set up with either a walk around queen bed or two twin beds, and private en suite facilities.

There is plenty to do outside on this yacht. The aft upper deck has a table which serves as either a table for alfresco dining or a sitting area for socializing. A very spacious bow is the perfect place to view sea life and landscape. Hanse Explorer also offers two Zodiac tenders, two inflatable sea kayaks, and dive equipment for expeditions off the yacht.
